"Do You Love Me? Feed My Sheep"

부활하신 예수님께서 실패와 낙심 속에 있던 베드로를 찾아가 던지신 질문은 단 하나였습니다. "네가 이 사람들보다 나를 더 사랑하느냐." 주님은 베드로의 실수를 꾸짖는 대신, 그분의 양을 맡기시며 사랑의 사명을 회복시켜 주셨습니다.

The risen Jesus sought out Peter, who was lost in failure and discouragement, and asked him a single question: "Do you love me more than these?" Rather than rebuking Peter for his failure, the Lord entrusted His sheep to him and restored his calling of love.

우리 교회의 '순'은 바로 이 '사랑의 고백'이 실천되는 현장입니다. 순장은 완벽한 자격을 갖춘 사람이 아니라, 주님을 향한 사랑 때문에 그분이 아끼시는 양 떼를 기꺼이 돌보는 사람입니다. 한 사람의 영혼을 가슴에 품고 기도하며, 그들의 삶에 영적인 꼴을 먹이는 순장의 삶이야말로 주님의 마음을 가장 시원하게 해 드리는 길입니다. 순장의 자리는 무거운 짐이 아닙니다. 나를 먼저 사랑하신 주님의 음성을 듣고, 그 사랑을 흘려 보내는 '순종의 통로'가 되는 축복의 자리입니다.

Our church's small groups (Soon) are the very place where this "confession of love" is lived out. A small group leader is not someone with perfect credentials, but someone who — out of love for the Lord — willingly cares for the flock He cherishes. To carry each soul in your heart, to pray for them, and to feed spiritual nourishment into their lives — this is the leader's life, and it is the path that brings the Lord's heart its deepest gladness. The role is not a heavy burden. It is a blessed seat — to hear the voice of the One who first loved us, and to become a "channel of obedience" through which His love flows out to others.

지체들의 영육 간의 강건함을 위해 간절히 무릎 꿇는 진정한 목자로 세워지는 이 귀한 부르심에 여러분을 초대합니다. 2026년 4월 12일과 19일, "예비순장학교"를 통해 주님의 양을 먹이는 선한 일꾼으로 함께 준비되기를 소망합니다. 여러분의 헌신을 통해 우리 공동체가 더욱 생명력 넘치는 사랑의 공동체로 거듭날 것을 확신하며 축원합니다.

We invite you into this precious calling — to be raised up as a true shepherd who kneels earnestly in prayer for the spiritual and physical strength of every member. Love your leader and your members. Look at what is needed from the leader's perspective and partner with them. Pay attention to your members' prayer requests and pray together for their concerns to be resolved.

Carefully observe what your leader does. Watch and learn the order in which they guide the meeting. Imagine: if I were in the leader's seat, how would I speak and act? Continually participate in the church's other discipleship programs.

10 Suggestions for Community Vitality

1. 자신의 필요를 나누는 투명함의 모델이 되라.
2. 정해진 시간 안에 모임을 끝내고 그 후에 교제를 허용하라.
3. 당신의 가정을 다른 사람들에게 개방하라.
4. 소그룹 안에서 함께 음식을 나누고 재미있는 시간을 가지라.
5. 서로를 섬기고 오락이나 쇼핑 등 일상의 활동 가운데 사람들과 함께 하라.
6. 가능하다면 주일 예배 때에는 함께 앉으라.
7. 사람들이 실제적인 도움을 얻도록 각 소그룹 생활의 단계 (형성기, 갈등기, 평정기, 실행기)를 가르치라.
8. 소그룹 모임 때까지 서로 전화 통화를 하라.

1. Be a model of transparency by sharing your own needs.
2. End meetings on time, then allow informal fellowship to continue afterward.
3. Open your home to others.
4. Share meals and have fun together within the small group.
5. Serve one another and join people in everyday activities like recreation or shopping.
6. Whenever possible, sit together at Sunday worship.
7. Teach the stages of small group life (forming, storming, norming, performing) so people get practical help.
8. Stay in touch by phone between meetings.
9. Encourage members to grow into mutually accountable relationships.
10. Share roles so the group can grow together.
